DESCRIPTION:11th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR2027)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 11th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR2026) will take place from 19 to 21 January 2027 at ISLA – Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology\, in Vila Nova de Gaia – Oporto\, Portugal\, and from 1 to 4 February 2027 online. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWCQR brings together a global network of leading researchers\, practitioners\, and scholars from 50+ countries\, establishing itself as a premier platform for the exchange\, discussion\, and advancement of qualitative research. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease read the following information carefully before proceeding with your registration. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Information\n\n\n\n\nAt least one author per accepted abstract must register to ensure its presentation at WCQR2027.\n\n\n\nAll authors who will present an abstract\, panel discussion\, or workshop must register for the conference\, regardless of whether they are presenting in person or online. Co-authors who are not registered may not participate in the presentation\, either in person or online.\n\n\n\nPlease register according to your mode of participation:\n\nIn-person attendees: select an In-person option.\n\n\n\nOnline attendees: select an Online option.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Categories\n\n\n\nAuthors\, Panel Discussion & Workshop Facilitators\n\n\n\n\nAbstract author (presenting in person or online) – For authors of accepted abstracts.\n\n\n\nExtra Abstract (in person or online) –This item must be added to the registration when the same author is presenting a second abstract.\n\n\n\nPanel Discussion Facilitator (presenting in person or online) – For facilitators of accepted panel discussions.\n\n\n\nWorkshop Facilitator (presenting in person) – For facilitators of accepted workshops.\n\n\n\nMaster’s / Doctoral Student – For Master’s or Doctoral students presenting abstracts. Online presentation only. Proof of enrolment from the participant’s institution is required.\n\n\n\nAuthor / Participant from Least Developed Countries (LDCs): for authors of accepted abstracts or participants from countries included in the United Nations list of least developed countries (see here). Online presentation and participation only. Proof of enrolment from the participant’s institution is required.\n\n\n\n\nParticipants (Non-Presenting Attendees)\n\n\n\n\nParticipant (in person) – For attendees without submissions who wish to join sessions in person (with access to the online program).\n\n\n\nParticipant (online) – For attendees without submissions who wish to access online sessions.\n\n\n\n\nTraining Day\n\n\n\n\nThe WCQR2027 Training Day will take place online\, on 1 February 2027 (Western European Time\, UTC+00:00)\n\n\n\nAttendance at the Training Day is not included in the WCQR2027 conference registration and requires separate enrollment.\n\n\n\nThe Training Day registration fee includes participation in one short course in the morning session and one short course in the afternoon session. \n\n\n\nParticipants will select their preferred short courses during registration\, subject to availability.
