This presentation focuses on the potential of qualitative research to empower marginalized groups, particularly those who are entangled in socially-sensitive phenomena.
This presentation will introduce different strategies to ensure that quality in qualitative research conducted in the Asian context is evident. It will explore different frameworks for establishing rigor and explore ways in which elements of quality are addressed. Further, it will provide examples on how quality was observed from selected qualitative research studies conducted in Asia.
