WCQR2027: Call for Submissions

WCQR is inviting researchers, academics, and professionals from across the globe to contribute to the 11th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR2027), a leading international forum for advancing qualitative research and innovation.

📅  WCQR2027 will take place:

  • 19 to 21 January 2027 at ISLA – Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology, in Vila Nova de Gaia – Oporto, Portugal
  • 1 to 4 February 2027  in a dedicated Online Program

WCQR2027 brings together a vibrant and diverse community committed to exploring qualitative approaches across disciplines. Whether you are developing new ideas or presenting completed research, this is your opportunity to share your work, exchange perspectives, and connect with peers worldwide.

Abstracts

Present your research to an international audience and be part of a dynamic academic exchange. Submissions are accepted in two categories:

  • Project Abstracts – for ongoing or exploratory research.
  • Paper Abstracts – for completed studies, with potential for full paper submission and publication.

📚 Accepted abstracts will be published in the official WCQR2027 Abstracts Book (ISBN). Selected submissions may be invited for full paper publication in partner journals.

Panel Discussions

Propose engaging and thought-provoking panels that bring together multiple perspectives. We encourage sessions that address emerging topics, methodological innovations, or critical challenges in qualitative research.

This year, WCQR also invites interactive workshop proposals. Workshops should offer hands-on, practical learning experiences, focusing on methods, tools, or skills development in qualitative research. This is an excellent opportunity to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in a more immersive format.
