The 10th World Conference on Qualitative Research (WCQR2026) invites researchers, scholars, and practitioners from around the world to submit their work for presentation and publication. WCQR2026 will take place from 20 to 22 January 2026 at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, and from 2 to 5 February 2026 in an online format, ensuring global accessibility and participation.
This edition of WCQR continues to be a leading platform for the advancement of qualitative research across disciplines, offering a dynamic space for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
The Call for Abstracts is now open and welcomes submissions in the following two categories:
- Project Abstracts: Presentations focused on ongoing research or projects in development.
- Paper Abstracts: Completed research studies eligible for full paper submission and potential publication in associated journals.
Abstracts must align with the scope of qualitative research and explore one or more of the conference topics, including but not limited to:
- Qualitative Research in Education
- Qualitative Research in Health
- Qualitative Research in Social Sciences
- Qualitative Research in Engineering and Technology
- Qualitative Research in Business

Accepted abstracts will be published in the WCQR2026 Abstracts Book (with ISBN), ensuring wide dissemination and academic recognition.
Authors of selected Paper Abstracts will be invited to submit a full paper for publication in one of the affiliated scientific journals, subject to the scope and peer-review process of each journal.
