WCQR2027 Training Day
Aimed at providing participants with practical, hands-on learning experiences, this day will feature short courses focused on qualitative research methods.
This presentation will introduce different strategies to ensure that quality in qualitative research conducted in the Asian context is evident. It will explore different frameworks for establishing rigor and explore ways in which elements of quality are addressed. Further, it will provide examples on how quality was observed from selected qualitative research studies conducted in Asia.
This session will discuss the varied arts-based approaches to auto/ethnography, the panelists’ interests in this form of research, and the importance of stories in understanding the human experience culturally, socially, and politically.
