Join us on September 12th, 2023 at a preparatory event for the highly anticipated 8th World Conference on Qualitative Research. The Pre-Conference for the South Africa chapter of the WCQR2024 will be centered around the theme “Qualitative Research as a Pillar for a Better World.”

This presentation focuses on the potential of qualitative research to empower marginalized groups, particularly those who are entangled in socially-sensitive phenomena.
This presentation will introduce different strategies to ensure that quality in qualitative research conducted in the Asian context is evident. It will explore different frameworks for establishing rigor and explore ways in which elements of quality are addressed. Further, it will provide examples on how quality was observed from selected qualitative research studies conducted in Asia.
